I am back on track and eager to fill this website with new articles. I am still configuring the layout and functions to make the use of this website comfortable, so errors and misbehaviour might occur for short times. Unfortunately I will focus on the German language and publish texts for my biggest group of readers. I also prefer and enjoy more to express myself intensively in my mother’s tongue than struggle with translations. That means that it will be some luck if you’ll find some English words like these. Not to mention French and Spanish. Might be something for my retirement 😀

Die Prognosen führen zwar noch die ein oder andere Wolkendecke und vereinzelt einige Regentropfen auf, aber insgesamt sieht es stabil und ungefährlich aus. Die Unwetterphase ist vorüber.

Ein Unwetter zieht derzeit über die Kanarischen Inseln und hat uns hier oben in La Palmas Nordwesten auch schon ereilt. Die Prognose für die nächsten Tage sieht nicht besser aus.

Gestern hat ein kurzes Gewitter bereits den Router beim Nachbarn, über den wir Zugang zum Internet erlangen, mit einem Blitz außer Betrieb gesetzt und zuerst war unklar wie lange der Ausfall andauern würde. Erfreulicherweise ist das Gerät heute bereits ersetzt worden und so schreibe ich hier wieder.

Da aber ungewiss ist, ob er als Vorkehrung vorm nächsten Sturm vom Strom genommen wird oder ob die Wetterlage die Funkverbindung stört oder ob wir hier bei anhaltender Wolkendecke noch genug Strom haben werden (wir bekommen ihn nur über Solarpanelle, es gibt keinen Anschluss ans öffentliche Netz), merke ich an, dass ich plötzlich bis Ende der Woche offline sein könnte.

Ansonsten sind wir hier wetterfest genug, so dass kein Grund zur Sorge besteht. Ich werde im Anschluss Entwarnung geben.
